We are honoured to be led by Kris & LaDawn Duerksen. Their love and passion for people is contagious and their desire for God's Word to be preached with honesty, grace and intelligence is evident.
You'll find Kris' teaching both thought provoking and biblically balanced as he wants everyone to see life through the lens of what Christ did on the Cross.
Kris & LaDawn live in Steinbach, Manitoba Canada, and have four children; Joy, Charlie, Eden & Boaz.

Orville is Crossview Church's Exec Pastor and brings a background of business organization, accountability, and structure. He is passionate about prayer and has a long history of involvement in prayer ministry. He and his wife April have three married daughters and one grandson.

Caleb Dueck joined the Crossview team at its inception of March 2021. As the Next Gen Pastor, Caleb provides pastoral leadership to all our Children and Youth. He has a passion to reach the next generation for Christ and a gift for teaching the Gospel. Caleb and his wife Katrina have four crazy children: Asher, Judah, Noa, & Ezekiel.

Being part of Crossview's initial start-up process in 2021 with Pastor Kris and the leadership team, Kylo oversees a handful of daily operations that include the media, production and creative processes that makes church 'happen'. Kylo takes joy in connecting with people and using creative systems that foster relationships and help lead others towards Christ. Him and his wife Kelsey have been married for 10 years and have three girls.

Care & Connect Pastor

As Care and Connect Pastor, Grace is responsible for overseeing, supporting and giving leadership to Crossview Adult Ministries including seniors, welcome volunteers, pastoral care, prayer, large events and community outreach. Grace has two married children and three grandchildren who she loves to spend time with. She also loves cooking and having people over for dinner.
Discipleship Pastor

Carl’s love for people paired with strong organization skills are the perfect blend for his role as Discipleship Pastor. Carl values relationships and you will usually find him visiting in the lobby before & after services. He has a strong desire to help others find connection within our church as well as in their own communities. Carl is married to Esther, and they have three married sons and two grandsons. In his spare time Carl enjoys doing yard work and woodwork.
Worship Pastor

With over 20 years experience in leading worship, Melissa is excited to step in to the role of Worship Pastor at Crossview. Her passion is to create meaningful and joyful worship experiences, and to train others to do the same! She has developed a huge heart for people, and this can be seen in her style of worship leading. Melissa is also on the teaching faculty at Steinbach Bible College as their music specialist. Even more than teaching, she loves spending time with her husband Ryan and their three children, Owen, Wyatt and Delaney.

Brad Klassen is our Crossview Children’s Pastor and what a children’s pastor he is! The author of two children’s story books, Brad has gift for communicating truth and a passion for bringing Jesus and kids together. Brad and his wife Jen have four children: Hailey, Addison, Zach, & Makenna.
Next Gen Administrator

Claudia Winter is our Next Gen Administrator. She has a passion for youth to encounter God. She also has a gift of administration and works to create a safe environment at our church, especially for our children. She and her husband Jimmy have 3 children: Kimberly, Jayden, & Jacob.

Ryla is our Children’s Ministry Assistant. Ryla has over 40 years of kids’ ministry experience. She is gifted, she is passionate, she is fun, and we love having her on our Crossview staff team! Ryla and her husband Manuel have 5 kids and 8 wonderful grandkids.
Receptionist / Adult Ministry Assistant

As Crossview’s one and only Receptionist, Crystal thrives in making things organized and efficient for both staff and church attenders. She manages the Crossview office, helps plan events and gets people connected at Crossview. Crystal and her husband Steve enjoy spending time with their family. She especially enjoys shopping at thrift stores and garage sales with her daughters.

Healthcare Administration
Lucille loves the church and the teaching of God’s Word. Lucille has worked in healthcare administration for much of her career, and brings a wealth of experience working with boards and CEOs in the healthcare sector. She and her husband Bob have two married children and 5 grandkids.
Local Business Owner
Jon is a licensed accountant, and an entrepreneur who has started a number of businesses. Jon is passionate and generous in giving and sees the business world as his mission field. He and his wife Susan have 3 children.

Doug and his wife Carla have a passion for youth and kids ministries and a long history of leadership and involvement in those areas. Doug is also a business owner with a passion for generosity and discipleship in the marketplace. Doug & Carla have three sons, one of whom is now married.

Eric has a passion for our local community, Steinbach and region. He is involved in the community in numerous ways, serving in various community organizations and also regularly engaging in acts of kindness and generosity towards people and groups in the area. He also loves praying and is the leader of our prayer ministry at Crossview. He and his wife Carol have 3 children, and one grandson.
Local Real Estate Agent
Paul is a successful business owner and agent who sees his work as a mission field, regularly sharing Jesus and praying with people as he works. Paul has a real heart for those who are going through difficulties and loves visiting people who are in the hospital or who are going through difficult things. He has been married to his wife, Susan, for 40 years and they have two married adult children, and 2 delightful grandchildren.
Global Missionary & Church Planter
Bill has 37 years of experience as a lead pastor in a handful of churches across Canada. He now leads two amazing international mission organizations: Commissioning a Lifestyle of Integrity (CLI), which is growing rapidly in influence all over Africa; as well as Bridging Africa and China, a ministry of that brings Chinese workers in Africa, along with their families, together with the African people they now live with through fostering cultural understanding and exchanges. He and his wife Shirley have been married for 43 years and do not have children but have been parents to youth who needed help and a home numerous times.
Healthcare Administration
Liona works in administration at Steinbach Family Medical and has been on planning committees in that organization. Liona has a desire to help guide the direction of the church, bring ideas and support the church and the staff in whatever way she can. She and her husband Freddy live in Steinbach and have two children.
Project Manager
Bonnie is a Project Manager with experience in consumer lending, as well as having been a board member of a local organization. She sees her work on the board as an opportunity to participate in furthering the direction Crossview is already going in. Bonnie loves how God reminds her how His ways and thoughts are greater and while she is only able to see a small piece, He sees all things.
Entrepreneur
Brad and his wife Pam have two children, live in Mitchell and have been at Crossview Church from its very beginning! Brad is an entrepreneur partnered in local small business in Steinbach, he is excited to see what is happening in and through Crossview and has a strong desire to help the church as it grows and develops. He has served on several not-for-profit boards and currently hosts the GriefShare program offsite (both spring and fall sessions) for Crossview. Brad describes his walk with Jesus as a journey and shares that recently, “the growing realization that having God in his everything, has been uplifting, freeing and sometimes scary all at the same time.”
